Signs that you need a stucco inspection
Staining surface, mold, cracks and leaks? Here our menu
VISUAL
Our Visual Inspections consist of a thorough walk through around the home. Searching for signs of moisture, staining, cracks, improper flashing, caulking, proper weep screed installation and stucco running below grade. This inspection is based off of observation, and possible damage. It is recommended to get an invasive inspection, for a more in-depth diagnosis.
INVASIVE
Invasive inspections are a technical method we utilize in inspecting stucco. This method is a two to three-hour process which involves drilling and inserting probes to get an accurate reading of moisture concentration to the substrate, behind the stucco. Each hole is then filled with caulking and holes are visually nonexistent.
INFRARED SCANNING
Infrared scanning is an unconventional inspection method, utilizing advanced technology to reveal what’s in between your walls of your stucco home. This tool best detects moisture intrusion along different penetrations of your home.
OPEN/CLOSE
Our Open/Close Inspections are used to get the most accurate results. In this inspection we open small `4×4 inch squares in the areas we believe are affected. We physically remove small squares of stucco and inspect the conditions inside to see the damage.
